Adam Pinto is Chair of Keyboard Studies in the Conservatorium of Music at the University of Western Australia. He has been a teacher of all levels for over three decades and has developed and published pedagogical materials and teaching resources in collaboration with reedmusic.com. As an an examiner with the Australian Music Examination Board, Adam continues to examine at all levels and regularly present masterclasses, workshops and teacher seminars on instrumental pedagogy and the integration of aural skills and musician’s health into the curriculum. In 2025 Adam will convene the Western Australian Piano Pedagogy Conference at the University of Western Australia on July 18 and 19.

Adam is a sought-after soloist, recording regularly for broadcast by the ABC. He performs with the WA Symphony Orchestra and frequently collaborates with local and international soloists at festivals worldwide.
