The Albany Eisteddfod is an annual music competition held in Albany WA that showcases the musical skills of people from the Great Southern Region of WA.

For over 40 years the Eisteddfod has fostered the talent of students from Albany, Denmark, Mt Barker, Walpole and surrounds, providing a nurturing space for musical development through performance in front of an adjudicator, family, friends and peers.

The Eisteddfod plays a vital role in the education of classical music students and provides an opportunity for students to perform to the highest standard possible.

This event is like no other in the region and brings together students, music teachers, parents, schools and volunteers from across the community – all of whom share a common love of music.
